(What follows is a brief report by Caitanya Dasa Adhikari on the World Sanskrit Book Mela)
Recently we took part in a very successful book Exhibition called "Visva Samskrita Pustaka Mela"(World Sanskrit Book Mela), from 7th Jan to 10th Jan.at Bangalore. Many people arrived from different parts of India and from other countries also.
Many Gosai Publication books were sold at this event. Evolution of Theism in English and Kannada were the most popular amongst all our books followed by Divya Samanvaya (Srila Sridhara Maharaja's book Divine Harmony in Kannada).
Many representatives from different major Sanskrit institutions including Madhvas and Sankarites visited our stall. Most of the chief guests who head various institutions such as ISRO, The Indian institute of Management and the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand also visited our stall and some of them went with copies of Evolution of Theism and Gayatri Mantartha Dipika. It was very exiting to see that most of the visitors were surprised to know that there were books about Caityanya Mahaprabhu's philosophy being published by a mission other than ISKCON.
One Sanskrit scholar from Delhi bought six copies of the Gayatri book and said that some years ago he purchased one in Vrndavana and later couldn't find any copies when he wanted to gift them to his freinds.He was very exited to see them here.
Overall it was a exiting experience and in my sankirtana experience, it was the most successful event for book distribution in Bangalore for Gosai Publishers.
